This mokume gane ring is crafted from alternating layers of 14k red gold and sterling silver, fused together and forged by hand. Once shaped and patterned, the surface undergoes a medium etching process that brings out more of the wood grain texture. This wedding band features no side framing the mokume, allowing the mokume to run edge to edge for a more organic look.

The result is a wedding band that feels both ancient and modern — an organic pattern inspired by nature, elevated through fine metalwork. Every mokume billet patterns differently, meaning your ring's grain will be absolutely one of a kind.

This design makes an exceptional wedding band, anniversary ring, commitment band, or heirloom art piece.

  • What Is Mokume Gane?

Mokume Gane, born out of ancient Japanese metalworking techniques, dates back to the 17th century. Mokume Gane, meaning "wood grain metal," involves the fusion of different metals to unique stunning patterns resembling wood grain.

The result is a wedding band that feels inspired by nature. Every mokume billet patterns differently, meaning your ring's grain will be absolutely one of a kind. Mokume Gane rings reflects the image of marriage - Two unique metals that are forged and fused together forever.
